Loyalsock Trail started as a simple idea. Make gear that actually reflects what it feels like to be out there. If you have hiked the trail, you know it is not just another name on a map. It is long days, changing terrain, and a kind of quiet you do not get anywhere else.

This is not a big brand or a mass-produced storefront. It is a small project built around a place that matters.

The trail exists because of local volunteers and groups like the Alpine Club of Williamsport who put in the time to maintain it. This project is meant to support that community by bringing more attention to the trail and, over time, contributing back in ways that make sense.

Loyalsock Trail is operated by Amoeba Media, a Pennsylvania-based company founded by Zach Lyon. Most of the work behind Amoeba focuses on building digital tools, maps, and products connected to real-world places. This store is one part of that. It is something more tangible and directly tied to the region.
